Third Scope Asia Launches “AI Recording”, Turning Meeting Minutes into Reusable Knowledge Across Kanata

Third Scope Asia Pte. Ltd. today launched AI Recording, an application that joins online meetings, records them and produces the minutes without manual work. The app is available worldwide from today on every plan of Kanata, the company’s generative AI platform for business, including the free tier.

What separates AI Recording from the growing field of AI note-takers is what happens after the minutes are written. Every set of minutes is filed into Kanata’s Library, where AI Chat and the platform’s other applications can draw on it. Employees can ask what was discussed in a meeting they did not attend, pull together the decisions made across several teams in a single week, or ask what to do next about a decision already taken — and get an answer that reflects the company’s own guidelines and earlier material.

Third Scope Asia introduced a new pricing structure for Kanata on the same day. Alongside the existing Enterprise plan, the company added a free plan and a Business plan. Under the new structure, plans no longer differ by feature: the Library, the applications and the choice of AI model are available on every plan, including the free one. What separates the plans is how much AI usage each allows. Kanata is offered in seven languages and accepts payments from more than 195 countries and regions.

To mark the launch, Third Scope Asia is running two offers through September 30, 2026. Details appear below.

Productivity
The number of meetings companies hold keeps rising. Most decisions are made in them, however, are never written down — or are written down and never read again. Producing minutes remains largely manual work.

AI transcription has made recording and transcription easier, but it has not solved what comes next:

  • Decisions and action items are buried in transcripts that run for pages
  • Minutes are saved as standalone files, disconnected from the systems where the work actually happens
  • There is no way to search across past meetings, so the same discussion is held again
  • People who did not attend may lack the context needed to act.

The problem is not that minutes do not exist. It is that they are not connected to anything.

One platform in place of many AI tools
Most companies have adopted AI tool by tool, and their knowledge is now divided along the same lines. What is discussed in a chat tool is never passed to a summarization tool, minutes sit in a folder somewhere, and each AI knows nothing about the company using it.

Kanata was built to change that arrangement. It places the applications people work in and the Library that holds an organization’s knowledge on the same foundation.

The Library holds prompts, AI configurations, internal documents and data. Anything registered once can be referenced by any application within the platform.

The applications — AI Chat, AI Summary, AI Recording and e-Learning among them — are the tools people use to do the work. All of them draw on the same Library.

Because the two sit together, the output of one application becomes the input to another. That is why minutes produced by AI Recording become knowledge AI Chat can use.

Kanata is structured in three layers: a space for the organization, projects within it, and the applications and Library beneath. Access and permissions are set at project level, so departments can keep confidential material separate while still building shared assets. AI models can be selected by task, allowing companies to balance cost against performance without committing to a single vendor.

What AI Recording does
AI Recording joins online meetings on Zoom, Google Meet and other services, records the session and produces the minutes automatically. Recordings and audio files held by the customer can also be uploaded.

・Joins the meeting and records it. The app attends the call and runs recording and minute-writing automatically. The minutes are ready when the meeting ends.

・Generates meeting minutes automatically, not just a transcript. - Transcription, summarization and formatting run end to end without manual intervention. The structure of the minutes is set by templates held in Kanata’s Library, so teams can apply different templates per project or per meeting, or standardize on one across the organization.

・Feeds AI Chat. Minutes are saved to Kanata’s Library, where AI Chat can draw on them. Staff can work from the decisions recorded there to settle what to do next.

Kanata is not a meeting platform. AI Recording joins the conferencing tool a company already uses, so there is nothing to migrate. In-person meetings are supported by uploading a recording or an audio file.

Where most tools stop, Kanata starts
For most note-taking tools, the job ends when the text is produced. For Kanata, that is where it begins.

Minutes stored in the Library become a shared reference every application on the platform can use. In AI Chat, for example, staff can ask:

“Where should we start in order to act on this decision?”

Alongside the minutes, Kanata draws on internal guidelines and earlier material held in the Library, and proposes the next steps.

Minutes stop being a record to look back on and become material for deciding what to do next. An answer can take in what was agreed in another department’s meeting and the procedures the company has set down, because meeting records and working knowledge are held in the same place.

Combined with the App Builder that Kanata expects to release later in 2026, decisions taken in a meeting will be able to trigger work in business applications directly.

The longer the platform is used, the more it understands about the business using it. An organization’s AI grows with every meeting. It is an effect a standalone note-taker cannot produce.

Comment
“Most AI tools start from zero every time you open them,” said Tatsuya Ito, chief executive officer of Third Scope Asia. “They know nothing about the organization using them, so people end up explaining the same background over and over. We set out to build the opposite: a platform that understands more about a business the longer it is used. Meetings are where most of that context is created, which is why we started there.”

New pricing: no feature limits on any plan
Kanata has until now been sold mainly through Enterprise agreements proposed directly by the company. With the addition of a free plan, organizations can sign up through the website and start from a single user on a monthly basis, handling contracting and payment online.

Plans no longer differ by feature. The Library, the applications, per-application usage controls and the choice of AI model are available on every plan, including the free tier. What a plan determines is how much AI a company can use.

On the Business plan, seat types can be mixed within one organization. Each member is assigned a Light, Basic or Max seat. Someone who works with AI all day can be given a higher seat while a colleague who only reads the minutes is given a lower one, so a company is not paying the same rate for everybody. Seat types can be changed at any time.

What comes next
Kanata will add further capabilities during 2026, including document management for materials such as internal guidelines, and an App Builder for creating generative AI business applications without code. The minutes and decisions accumulated by AI Recording will connect to both, so that what a meeting decides flows directly into the work that follows.

Kanata is a generative AI platform for business built on the mission “Work Beyond Routine.” It aims to make the Autonomous Enterprise — where AI agents carry out execution and people concentrate on judgment and creative work — a practical reality for companies of every size.
